Business Studies Teacher (IGCSE & A Level – Full-Time)

Start Date: September

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Business Studies Teacher to join our international secondary school in Istanbul.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Business Studies

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons

• Prepare students for external examinations

• Assess, record, and report student progress accurately

• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience

• Experience with Cambridge curriculum is strongly preferred

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Teachers

Istanbul International School is looking to add to its experienced staff. We are looking for qualified teachers that have experience working with International Learners. You will be working in the Early Years, Primary, Middle, or High School Cambridge Program with children aged 4 – 17. We have students from all over the world and the school expects teachers to be able to cope with children with varying levels of English.

Applicants should have the following:
● Teaching qualifications
● High level of English proficiency
● Experience teaching the Cambridge Curriculum
● The most important factor in the hiring process at Istanbul International School is teaching ability. Our Director of Teaching and Learning is looking for good teachers, first and foremost. However, the school also expects applicants to have a high level of English Proficiency.
